Medallions that appear throughout the issue hold text that acts as a second dek or photo caption. These do not necessarily need to be complete sentences.
Not all images will require a caption. However, if the contents of the photo will be confusing to the reader without a caption, please suggest adding one.
Use captions to identify people within the story when necessary or appropriate.
