The amount is separated from ingredient by a tab. Indent subsequent lines of individual ingredients. Check fraction size for readability.

Don’t abbreviate measurements such as cup, tablespoon, teaspoon, ounce, etc. (See special instructions in Abbreviations)

Use numerals in ingredients lists.

Do not use en dashes between numerals.

2 to 3 teaspoons dried basil
